I’m kicking off the show with the spiritual Godfather of Cinephobia Radio himself, the legendary British actor Malcolm McDowell.
This Q&A was recorded at the 2007 Festival of Fear in Toronto where Malcolm delighted fans with colourful tales about his work with the late great British director Lindsay Anderson, his roles in such fan favourites as Cat People and Time After Time, his unforgettable cameo in Robert Altman’s The Player and, of course, the part he was born to play — the charismatic and psychopathic Alex Delarge in Stanley Kubrick’s nihilistic masterpiece, A Clockwork Orange.
This is one of the best bits of audio I’ve cobbled together over the years so slooshy well my little droogies.
Slooshy Well.
